​Jaguarão is a Brazilian city in the southeast of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, part of the Jaguarão microregion and located 384 km southwest of Porto Alegre, capital of the state. It is located at a latitude of 32° 33′ 60″ south and at a longitude of 53° 22′ 36″ west, at an altitude of 26 meters. Its population was estimated at 27,944 in 2007, for an area of 2,054 km2.
